Lalu Prasad's provisional bail has been extended till July 3.

Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad's provisional bail has been extended till July 3.

The provisional bail granted to Lalu was initially till June 27 but was extended today by the Ranchi High Court.

Lalu was granted bail for six weeks earlier on medical grounds. He is receiving for treatment



of his illnesses related to the heart and kidneys at specialised medical centres in Delhi and Bengaluru.

Lalu was also granted a three-day parole earlier to attend his elder son Tej Pratap's wedding in Patna on May 12.

He was convicted and jailed since December in cases of fodder scam by CBI court.
