The counting of votes for the byelections to four Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly seats is underway. 

Lok Sabha seats where counting is taking place, are Kairana in Uttar Pradesh, Palghar and Bhandara-Gondiya in Maharashtra and the sole parliamentary constituency in Nagaland.

Assembly constituencies where counting of votes is being held are Noorpur in Uttar Pradesh, Shahkot in Punjab, Jokihat in Bihar, Gomia and Silli in Jharkhand, Chengannur in Kerala, Palus Kadegaon in Maharashtra, Ampati in Meghalaya, Tharali in



Uttarakhand and Maheshtala in West Bengal.

Counting of votes in Rajarajeshwari Nagar Assembly constituency in Karnataka is also underway. Earlier, the constituency was scheduled to go to polls on 12th May with 222 other constituencies of the state. 

But the elections were deferred after more than nine thousand fake electoral photo identity cards were found in a flat in Jalahalli on 9th May.

The elections for all the constituencies were held on Monday.
