Centre's Special Representative for Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma met Governor NN Vohra in Jammu yesterday. They discussed issues relating to the internal security situation among other things. 

Mr Sharma also visited International Border (IB) in RS Pura sector, which witnessed intense shelling last month. He is scheduled to tour the areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and Rajouri districts for the next two days. 

Dineshwar had detailed



interaction with the people living in border villages and listened to their demands. The border residents reiterated the demand for allotment of 5-marla plots to them in safer zones, construction of bunkers, enhancement in relief etc. 

Sharma discussed with the governor the issues related to recurring ceasefire violations along the LoC and IB, internal security situation and initiatives required for protecting and promoting educational and career interests of the youth.
