Ceasefire violation by Pak in Poonch

Pakistani forces resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling along the International Border and the Line of Control in Jammu and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir. 

Five persons, including two BSF jawans, were injured in the incident which started on Wednesday evening.Defence sources said, Pakistan Rangers resorted to small arms firing on Brahman Bella and Raipur Border out Posts along the international border in Pargwal sector



of Akhnoor belt in Jammu district from 3:15 PM. 

In another incident, Pakistan Army resorted to firing and shelling on Indian posts along the LoC in Mankote, Sabjian and Digwar forward areas in Poonch district from 3 PM.

Indian troops retaliated and gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani firing and shelling. This is fourth ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in past five days.
