CBI registers FIR against former Orissa HC Judge in corruption case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an FIR against former Orissa High Court Judge I M Quddusi and five others in an alleged corruption case. 

Justice (Retired) Quddusi has been booked on corruption charges, along with B P Yadav and Palash Yadav of the Prasad Educational Trust, which runs a medical college in Lucknow, besides a middleman and two



others. Justice Quddusi was a judge at the Orissa High Court between 2004 and 2010. 

The agency also conducted searches at eight places including the residence of the retired Judge in Delhi.The CBI spokesperson has rejected reports that the residence of a sitting judge of the Orissa High Court was raided by the agency.
