In Tamil Nadu, twelve fishermen from coastal town of Rameswaram were arrested by the Sri Lankan navy last night for allegedly crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line.S Emerit, president of Fisheries Association told reporters that fishermen were arrested while allegedly fishing off the Katchathivu islet and later taken to Talaimannar. He said their boats were also seized.
