Donald Trump calls PM Narendra Modi to wish India on Independence Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday thanked US President Donald Trump for calling him to convey Independence Day greetings.

The two men, leaders of the world's two largest democracies, met face-to-face for the first time earlier

this year in Washington.

Appreciate the warm felicitations from @POTUS, who called this evening to convey Independence Day greetings. Thank you @realDonaldTrump.
