A strong earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter Scale struck Tibet’s Nyingchi, close to the Arunachal Pradesh border, early on Saturday. There are no details yet about casualties and injuries,



Xinhua reported.

The earthquake struck at 6.34 am local time. It was followed by a 5-magnitude quake two hours later, the China Earthquakes Network Centre said.
