Telangana Waqf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem accompanied by Bhadurpura MIM MLA Moazzam Khan visited the Mir Alam Eidgah to review arrangements.

The Telangana Waqf Board has assured all facilities to devotees on Eid-ul-Azha at Mir Alam Eidgah. But it has so far failed to erect waterproof tents at the place where hundreds of Muslims are expected to turn up to offer Eidprayers During the visit, the Moazam Khan urged the board officials to put up tents at Eidgah in the wake of rains in city .

Mohammed Saleem admitted that the board has failed to chalk out a plan but assured resolving the issue.“In fact, `18 lakh was sought for putting



up water proof tents in this place. The board will allocate specific budget from next year onwards,'' clarified Mohammed Saleem. Prior to this, Moazzam Khan alleged that waqf board had failed to provide facilities in Mir Alam Eidgah last time with construction of a platform in Eidgah still pending.

Wakf board chairman Mohammed Saleem claimed that the pending bills were cleared recently . He further said that all the pending works will be solved shortly .“As far as the construction of the platform in Eidgah is concerned, it will take some time. The work will be undertaken soon after Eid-ul-Azha gets over,'' the chairman assured.
