Transport Minister Mahender Reddy said that the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) would operate 50 new buses linking Metro Rail services on 30 km stretch from Miyapur to Nagole which will be inaugurated on November 28.

Speaking to media persons along with RTC Managing Director Ramana Rao and other officials at the Secretariat on Thursday, the minister   said Hyderabad is the seventh city in the country to have Metro Rail



services. 

He said on the lines of Mumbai and Bengaluru, measures have been taken to link RTC with Metro Rail services. In the first phase, he said 50 buses would be operated on 10 routes of IT Corridor.

He said as many as 212 trips would be undertaken on either side of 24 Metro Rail stations. Similarly, he said the RTC services would be expanded on entire 72 km stretch of Metro Rail in near future.
