Nizamabad MP Kavitha reiterated that the ruling TRS will go it alone in the 2019 ensuing general elections and will clinch 100 seats easily.

In an informal talk with mediapersons after meeting with Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy at the Secretariat here on Tuesday, Kavitha asserted that the TRS will not have any electoral alliance with any political party. “Some surveys revealed that the TRS would easily win over 100 seats in the next elections and we are maintaining distance with other political parties”, she said.

She also said the ruling party will benefit even if all the Opposition parties fight together. Denying Cabinet expansion and a chance for women MLA in it, she said the government was doing its best for the welfare of women. With six women ministers, the previous Congress regime had failed to implement schemes for welfare of the women and the TRS government, since it came to power, did much for women’s welfare and would introduce more schemes for their

welfare.

Stating that the State government would lead an all-party delegation to the Centre for SC categorization, Kavitha dismissed the allegations as baseless with regard to the murder of Congress leader in Nalgonda. IT Minister KT Rama Rao made it to Davos trip for investments on receiving an invitation from World Economic Forum and there was no truth in the comment of TPCC Chief N Utham Kumar Reddy.

Welcoming Motkupally Narsimulu’s comment on merging the TDP into the TRS, Kavitha said there will be no problem if TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram launched a political party to fight the elections. “There was no need of confusion for Vonteru Prathap Reddy as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao avoids any grudge with anyone. TRS is a disciplined party, which made a unanimous resolution to suspend Nizamabad MLC.

The TRS MPs will raise the issues of the State in Parliament on the Chief Minister’s directive. KCR will soon take up a tour to Singareni Collieries”, she added.
