TRS Plenary, which was scheduled to be held on April 27 from 10 am to 5 pm at Kompally on April 27 will be a prelude to 2019 general elections and a plan to float Federal Front for qualitative changes in national politics.

This was informed by Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao here yesterday. He inspected the arrangements for the plenary at Kompally on the outskirts of Secunderabad along with Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and others.

Speaking to media persons here, the minister said some 13,000 delegates from all the Telangana districts and 100 NRI delegates from 20 nations will be participating in the plenary and nine committees were formed for successful conduct of the program. “This time, no guests from other States will be invited for the plenary”, he said, adding that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will address the conference.

The plenary will focus on welfare, development as well as other key issues of preparing for next general elections. The TRS will chalk out future course of action as KCR is to make a key



announcement on the Federal Front to combine the political parties against the BJP and the Congress, he said. Besides, the issues of State development through a series of programs, the plenary will discuss future plan of the ruling party by involving party leadership and activists. The government has been able to deliver the goods to the people, who are with the ruling party.

KTR said all arrangements have been made for the plenary to be held on a grand note as the delegates can feast on Telangana tastes, he said. He also said suitable arrangements were being made for the delegates, who are to face summer heat and to avoid inconvenience. Adequate police personnel were deputed for providing security to the delegates from the districts, he said. He also said better arrangements were being made for the important meeting that is expected to debate on Federal Front formation, disclosure of agenda for national politics, preparation for 2019 general elections with strategy and give impetus to flagship programs, welfare schemes and development plan.
