Telangana government to fill 1,000 vacant posts soon

The State government on Tuesday notified more than 1,000 posts to be filled in Backward Classes Welfare and State Home departments. The State Finance Department approved the BC Welfare Department’s request to fill 628 vacancies in Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (MJPTBCWREIS) through direct recruitment. 

The posts include 543 postgraduate teachers, 60 physical directors (schools), 19 junior-assistant-cum-typists, three physical education teachers and



one physical director, librarian and assistant librarian each in degree colleges

In the Home Department, 485 vacant posts in the category of constables in Special Protection Force will be filled through direct recruitment. The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board, Hyderabad, shall take appropriate steps for filling the vacancies through direct recruitment by obtaining details such as local cadre wise/vacancy position, roster points and qualifications etc., from the concerned authorities.
