Salar Jung Museum is organising a ‘Summer Art Camp’ for children between 8 and 15 years at its premises from May 14 to 26.

During the art camp, students will be taught various subjects, including importance of yoga and art of living, national integration, Indian arts, heritage awareness and museum awareness, drawing (pastels and pencil) and painting (crayon and water colour) , embroidery stitches pattern filling with different kinds of stitches for seniors and pattern stitches for juniors and clay models (3



dimensional).

Students will be categorised according to their age as juniors (8 to 11 years) and seniors (12 to 15 years). For this year’s camp, fresh candidates i.e., those who have not participated from the last two years will be given preference, according to press release.

Application for the camp will be available at the museum reception counter from May 1 to 7. The last date for submission of application is May 8 and the final list will be displayed on May 10.
