Customers can now send parcels through a new service called `International Tracked Packet' at all head post offices in the city.On Monday , the chief postmaster general, Telangana Circle, Brigadier B Chandrasekhar launched the service at Secunderabad Head Post Office on the occasion of `World Post Day .'

“This new service is aimed to cater to the needs of e-commerce and to enable cross-border transactions.It will be made



available to 12 Asia Pacific Region countries including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Cambodia. Customers can book articles up to a weight of 2kg and can track their movement,“ postmaster general, HQ region, PVS Reddy told. For first 100gm (Australia, New Zealand), `330 will be collected, `320 for Indonesia, `310 for other countries.
