Nehru Zoological Park increases entry charges

Nehru Zoological Park has increased the entry charges and other fares inside the park that would be effective from April 1. This decision was taken by the sixth Governing Board

(EFS&TDept.) meeting held on November 9, 2017.

As per the enhanced rate card, entrance charges for adults will be Rs 40 and Rs 25 for children.

Am thinking what was the need of increasing entry fee in zoo park. Same set of tigers and same set of rules and regulations. Or is it a seasonal change like aligning this with the school holidays.
