The Hyderabad Metro Rail services were disrupted for about 30 minutes on the Ameerpet-Miyapur route on Thursday evening after an advertisement flex fell on the overhead electrical line at JNTU station.

The maintenance and operation staff removed the flex immediately in heavy rains and lightning

conditions.

L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad said the services were disrupted from 5.35 pm to 6.05 pm, it said.

In a tweet, L&T Metro Rail Limited said, “Normal services resumed from 6.05 pm. We thank commuters for their understanding,” it added.
