Mahendar Reddy is new incharge DGP

Senior IPS officer and Hyderabad police commissioner M Mahendar Reddy was on Friday appointed in-charge DGP of Telangana. He will take charge on Sunday.

The state government also appointed V V Srinivas Rao of 1995 batch as in-charge



Hyderabad police commissioner and indications are that he will hold fort until the TRS government decides on the next permanent incumbent. Outgoing DGP Anurag Sharma was appointed advisor to police, law and order and crime control.
