Hyderabad: The overflowing drainage line at Harijana Basti, Madhapur, which was causing inconvenience to residents and road users, will be fixed in a week as the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is taking up the remodelling of drainage line works.

Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao over Twitter on Sunday.

The Minister immediately directed the GHMC and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board to look into the issue. Replying to Shiva Shankar, the GHMC officials from Chandanagar said the remodelling drainage line works were underway and the issue will be fixed within a week.
