The eighth edition of Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), will be held in Hyderabad on November 28-30. The flagship event that connects best entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters from across the globe to innovate the world’s most exciting solutions. The GES aims to boost emerging startups by promoting them and help them raise fund.

The event will be organized by NITI Aayog in partnership with the government of the United States of America and the summit will be addressed by The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi while the US delegation will be led by Ivanka Trump, advisor to President Donald Trump.

The GES has traveled across the world from Washington D.C. to Istanbul, Dubai, Marrakech, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur, Silicon Valley, and now has reached Hyderabad making it is the first time, GES is being hosted in South Asia.

Last year, the GES was held in Silicon Valley in the US and was attended by around 1,500 delegates from 160 countries.Owing to its strong impact of the vigorous startup ecosystem, US companies, premier educational institutions, and supportive government policies, Hyderabad has been selected as the venue to highlight



India’s enabling environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.

More than 1500 delegates from over 160 countries, including entrepreneurs, educators, investors, business representatives and government officials will be present at the Summit to represent the entrepreneurial talent from diverse backgrounds across the world. 

This year’s theme of ‘Women First, Prosperity for All’ is to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit, forge new collaborations across countries, and increase economic opportunities, particularly amongst women.
Ivanka Trump will lead the US delegation to elevate women’s entrepreneurship and fostering economic growth globally.For the first time, women from 127 countries are participating in a majority at a GES as 52.5% of entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters are being represented by women. Over 10 countries including Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Israel will have an all-female delegation.

Participants will represent four key industry sectors which include Healthcare and Life Sciences, Financial Technology and Digital Economy, Energy and Infrastructure, and Media and Entertainment.
