Heavy rains likely in several parts of Telangana: Met

The weather department on Wednesday predicted heavy rainfall in several parts of Telangana over the next two days. Kothagudem, Nagarkurnool, Jagtial, Wanaparthy , Nalgonda, Khammam and Suryapet are likely to receive heavy rain, the Met office



said.

The average rainfall the city receives in the month of April is 21.7 mm. However, till date, the city has only received seven mm of rainfall, say experts from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
