Heat wave in Telangana claims 65 lives

Hyderabad: As many as 65 people have reportedly died due to heat wave conditions in Telangana State.

Following predictions of Met Department that the heat wave might continue after three-four days, the Disaster Management Department has reportedly decided to send alerts to common people through



SMS.

Although the temperature has come down due to drizzles in various parts of the State during the last two days, the heat wave is likely to make a comeback after four days.

The Met Department fears that the maximum temperature might cross 47 Degrees Celsius. Therefore, people have been advised to stay indoors from 12 noon to 4 PM.
