Haj pilgrim from Telangana dies in Makkah

Another Haj pilgrim from Telangana died on Thursday in the holy city Mecca of Saudi Arabia with the death toll of pilgrims from the State this year reaching to three.

64-year-old Syed Muqtar Ahmed from Sangareddy had left for the pilgrimage on August 15 with his wife Rizwana Parveen Begum. After performing Haj, he returned to Mecca from Mina City and was



admitted at Al Noor Hospital three days ago.

According to doctors, Muqtar had health problems and died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. He was buried in Jannatul Hujjaj in Mecca on Thursday.

SA Shukoor, Special Officer, Telangana State Haj Committee consoled the bereaved family members.
