GHMC will issue notification for civic elections today

The notification for general elections for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will be issued on Tuesday.

Therefore, the process of filing of nomination papers will begin on Tuesday and will last till January 17. The political parties, especially TRS, MIM, Congress, BJP and



TDP, have intensified brainstorming to finalise the candidates. The ruling TRS is likely to release the first list of candidates on Tuesday.

Elections for 150 GHMC wards will be held on February 2 while counting of votes and declaration of results will be on February 5.
