Ford India and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) on Friday inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Hyderabad to set up a common digital mobility solution for commuters in the city.

Ford India will collaborate with the city authorities to analyse the existing transportation system and design solutions aimed to reduce congestion, improve the commuter experience, and optimize efficiency for transport



operators.

Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister, KT Rama Rao speaking in this regard said, that Hyderabad has a significant advantage due to its excellent infrastructure and connectivity.He said that the collaboration would help the public commute more convenient.

Ford is also working with cities of Indore and Mumbai to address growing transportation challenges in India and find customised mobility solutions.
