Finance Ministry to hold jointly with Telangana Govt Mudra Promotion Camp in Hyderabad today

Union Finance Ministry will hold jointly with the Telangana State Government a Mudra Promotion Camp in Hyderabad today. 

This will be part of the nationwide campaign that began on 27th of last month to promote digital transactions and Mudra Loans under the Prime Minister Mudra Yojana beside other financial schemes.The campaign will continue till 17th of this month and Mudra Promotion Camps will be held at 50 places across the country.

Union Minorities Affairs Minister Muktar Abbas Naqvi will be inaugurating the camp. The day-long camp will feature awareness on various categories of loans that can be availed under Pradhana Mantri Mudra



yojana and Start-Up India scheme under which loans up to one crore rupees can be obtained. The NPCI will also create awareness among the visitors on digital transactions. 

Awareness among merchants on boarding for various digital payments, coverage of merchants with Bharat QR coding and downloading BHIM app besides seeding Aadhar with bank accounts also will be done at the camp.

About 35 banks, and financial institutions will set up about 60 stalls and display their products and services. Besides providing 9 financial services on the spot, the Camp will also create awareness about agriculture loans among the visitors.
