ESL Narsimhan lauds Panjagutta police

Governor E S L Narasimhan, along with DGP M Mahender Reddy and other police officials, made a visit to the Panjagutta Police Station following it bagging the award for ‘The Second Best Police Station’ in India.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor lauded the achievement of the police station in the entire country. He felt that the entire police force was working hard to ensure that law and order was maintained in the



city and the State by taking into confidence the general public.

He called upon all other police stations to emulate the mechanism followed by the Panjagutta Police Station. He held that transformation of the entire Police Department with rapid adaptation of technology was helping resolve cases in no time. He hoped that the State would get all the awards from the Home Ministry in the next year.
