Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao sought support of former Prime Minister and Janadal Secular Chief Deve Gowda and his son former chief minister Kumar Swamy for his peoples’ Federal Front (FF) against the BJP and the Congress at the Centre.

KCR who took a special flight to Bengaluru along with TRS MPs Vinod Kumar, Santhosh Kumar and Actor Prakash Raj from Begumpet Airport had discussed with Deve Gowda on his new federal front with agenda for qualitative change in national politics to address key problems.

Speaking to media persons later, KCR lashed out at the Congress and BJP Governments at the Centre for failing miserably to address the problems pertaining to farmers and waters and several others for the past 70 years. Except for six years, the two national parties at the Centre blatantly ignored the key problems of the country due to lopsided policies, KCR alleged. “I sought the support of Deve Gowda, who had supported the cause of the separate Telangana”, he said.

KCR accused the Congress and the BJP Governments of failing to resolve the water crisis forcing the States to go to war. Kaveri Water Board to resolve Kaveri issue among Karnataka and Tamil Nadu States is still pending due to negligence of the government at the Centre, he alleged. Krishna Tribunal failed to resolve the water crisis for 14 years, he fumed.

These two parties are sitting pretty on the chairs and doing nothing for the cause of the farmers and the states seeking rightful share of waters from the rivers he charged. Our federal front has a broader agenda for national development to address these key issues daunting the nation for these long years and also development of our own states.
