CM KCR announces subsidy for Christians to undertake Jerusalem pilgrimage

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday attended the official Christmas celebrations held at Nizam Grounds where he announced a subsidy for Christians in the state to undertake a pilgrimage to

Jerusalem.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR said they are planning to introduce a budget for Jerusalem pilgrimage.

The government also allocated Rs 10 crore from the budget for repairs of old churches and construction of new churches.
