Black Day being observed in Old City today

Muslim political leaders and people struggling to rebuild Babri Masjid in Ayodhya will observe a black day in Old City on Wednesday on the masjid’s 25th demolition anniversary.

The south zone police under the supervision of DCP V Satyanarayana, conducted a flag march in sensitive areas. About 500 police personnel participated in the



flag march which started from Charminar and moved towards Shahalibanda, Laldarwaza, Gowlipura, Chatrinaka before culminating at Mithi ka Sher. Apart from this, locals and paramilitary forces have been deployed in sensitive places. Some political parties and people planned to take out rallies as part of the black day.
