7 trains to be restored after completion of track works on the Kazipet-Balharshah section

Seven passenger trains under South Central Railway (SCR) have been restored following the completion of track works on the Kazipet-Balharshah section.

Kazipet-Balharshah passenger and its return pair will run as per schedule. Similarly, five trains — Bhadrachalam Road-Sirpur town passenger, Sirpur town-Bhadrachalam Road, Hyderabad-Sirpur Kagaznagar Intercity Express, Sirpur Kagaznagar-Secunderabad Intercity Express and Secunderabad-Balharshah Bhagyanagar Express — will run as per



schedule.

Passengers faced much inconvenience as some trains were cancelled or rescheduled on Wednesday, due to the ongoing over-bridge works at Guntakal station, and late running of pairing trains. Guntakal-Bellari MEMU passenger and its return pair were cancelled, while Solarpur-Guntakal DEMU passenger and its return pair were partially cancelled between Adoni and Guntakal.
