181 - Women Helpline launched in Telangana

Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao on Saturday launched the 181 Women Helpline as a part of the women welfare schemes organised by Women and Child Welfare Department.

The helpline would cater to complaints in cases such as sexual assault in working places, domestic



violence and dowry harassment. 

Speaking in this regard, the Minister said that the state government is providing double bedroom houses or 3 acres of land for women. 

He further appreciated the department's credibility and determination for the women welfare.
