The State government is taking rapid strides towards ‘mobile governance’. After the Departments of Home and Transport and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC)  developed new mobile applications (apps) to make their services available to the customers , a new single app is being designed to offer more than 100 citizen centric services, by ‘Mee Seva’ centres, to the smart phones users  in the state.
The new mobile app would allow the customers to download all the applications and submit them immediately by paying the requisite service charges and fee online.
The services include–filing of birth and death certificates, applications for rations cards,

new gas connections, voter registration, permission for buildings, trade licences, e-pass books, extracts of house site patta, fee reimbursement, filing an ‘arms- licence’ application,  residence certificate, school registration form, sanction of incentives for industries etc. The officials of the state IT department told that the new mobile app would come into force within six months. A high level technical team has been constituted to create the app.
The government has come out with an idea to offer all Mee Seva services on mobile after the apps created by the State Transport department, Home Department and GHMC received overwhelming response from the people.
