Hyderabad: As per the orders issued by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) no admissions are likely to be made in Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology _ the well-known engineering college of the city, this year. Similary there is likelihood that admissions cannot be made in Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration and Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy as well.
All India Council of Technical Education has kept the permission to educational institutions run by Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society on hold. According to Director AICTE, Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology has been put under 'No Admission' category and permission for admissions has not been granted so far.
Besides Muffakham Jah College of

Engineering, Amjad Ali Khan College of Administration and Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy located inside the premises (Mount Pleasant) are also put on 'no permission' list; as a result chances of admissions in these colleges are dim.
The council has taken this decision following land dispute of "Mount Pleasant" (the premises in which the colleges are located) that recently surfaced yet again.
Nawab Zamin Ali Khan, who has general power of attorney for Ameena Marzia, Syed Ahmed Khan and Syed Hussain Ali Khan (grandsons of Prince Muazzam Jah), said in a press conference held recently that Sultan-ul-Uloom Educational Society (SUES) had taken illegal possession of Mount Pleasant building and 24 acres in Banjara Hills belonging to the Muazzam Jah Trust.
