Wrestler Asuka creates history in WWE Royal Rumble

Bengaluru: Last night we witnessed history being created in women's wrestling as Asuka was the last woman left standing in the ring after the first-ever Royal Rumble match at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The expectations were very high in the night as WWE left no stone unturned to make this first-time contest a memorable affair with several



former names and NXT names taking part in the match to fill up the 30 spots available.

To add hype to the contest, Stephanie McMahon was announced as a special commentator whereas Maria Menounos from E News was hired as the special ring announcer. These two names kicked off the historic match which was also the main event of the Royal Rumble night.
