Infosys has announced a three-year collaboration with 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal. The partnership marks the first time Nadal has collaborated with a digital service firm.

Working in tandem with Nadal’s coaching crew, Infosys plans to create an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered match analysis tool, a pioneering initiative in the realm of sports technology. This tool, personalized for Nadal, will deliver real-time insights from live matches while simultaneously feeding in data drawn from past games.

Speaking after being named the new brand ambassador for Infosys, Nadal said he loves the way the company has brought digital expertise in the tennis ecosystem.

“I’m very happy to work closely with Infosys, as they work to not only evolve the experience of tennis to the times, but also empower people in our communities to be part of a brighter future. I love the way Infosys has brought its digital expertise across industries to the global tennis ecosystem. It has transformed the tennis experience for a billion global fans and truly empowered all players on the tour with analytics

that they could have only dreamt of a few years ago,” said Nadal.

As a brand, Infosys has had a notable impact on the world of tennis through its innovative approach to digital technology. With its digital partnership with the ATP Tour, Roland-Garros, the Australian Open, and The International Tennis Hall of Fame, Infosys has revolutionized the tennis experience for fans worldwide. Through leveraging AI, cloud, and data analytics, the brand has enriched the tennis ecosystem.

Infosys introduced video and statistics analysis platforms specifically for players and coaches, revolutionizing training methods. Additionally, they've enhanced match analysis for broadcasters by deriving engaging content from their AI-assisted journalism platforms.

Simultaneously, Infosys has also focused on societal goals through their tennis partnerships, seamlessly merging sports, technology, and education. A prime example of this is their initiative with Tennis Australia for improving STEM education. By integrating tennis into STEM learning, they aim to foster a deeper appreciation for these subjects among young students.
