In Tennis, the Indian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan has crashed out of the Maharashtra Open, formerly known as the Chennai Open, India's only ATP World Tour event. The defending champions, who were the fourth seeds, lost to the unseeded French team of Gilles Simon and Pierre-Hugues Herbert, 3-6, 5-7, at Pune. 

The other Indian duo of Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan, however, made it to the semi-finals. They



stunned the top seeded Swedish-Croatian pair of Robert Lindstedt and Franko Skugor 7-5, 2-6, 10-6.Yuki and Divij will face Simon and Herbert today for a place in the Final.

Gilles Simon will also be seen in action in the Singles semi-finals when he faces top seeded Croatian Marin Cilic. The other semi-final will be played between second seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa and Frenchman Beniot Paire.
