Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu lost to Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the summit clash of  Thailand Open in Bangkok yesterday. 

Okuhara dominated the proceedings to beat  Sindhu 21-15,  21-18 in exactly 50 minutes. By virtue of



this win, Okuhara has taken a 6-5 head-to-head win-loss record over Sindhu.  

The last time the duo met at the All England Championships earlier this year, it was Sindhu who prevailed over the Okuhara.
