PV Sindhu beats World No.2 Akane Yamaguchi in Asian Games

Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu creates history defeating world number Two Akane Yamaguchi of Japan in the women’s singles semifinals of the 18th Asian Games on Monday. With this, she has become the first Indian woman to get into the finals at Asian Games.

guarantees a silver for her at the upcoming finals. The 23 year old badminton player will now face Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei in the women’s singles finals of the 18th Asian Games. Tai Tzu Ying is currently the No.1 ranked badminton player in the world.
