Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) are both in search of a win as they face off in their last league game of the 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL), with a place in the playoffs on the offering for the winning team. RPS are on 16 points from their 13 games, with KXIP two points behind them. However, due to their negative net run rate, RPS will be knocked out from the top four if they lose today. KXIP will be looking to continue their good run of form after recent wins over Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians, while RPS will be aiming to improve from their poor show with the bat in the seven-run defeat at the hands of Delhi Daredevils.
