Indian rower Dushyant yesterday bagged a Bronze medal at the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia. 

In the Men's Lightweight Single Sculls category, Dushyant finished third to give India's its first medal of the day. 

India now have 19 medals - 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 11 Bronze in its kitty, and they are 10th. Indian athletes are also figuring in various other events. 

In Shooting, Heena Sidhu and 16-year old recent Commonwealth Games Gold medalist Manu Bhaker are vying for top honours in the Women's 10-metre Air Pistol event. 

Another CWG Gold medal winner, 15-year old Anish Bhanwala and Shivam Shukla are figuring in the Qualification of Men's 25-metre Rapid Fire Pistol category. 

Men's 300 metres Standard Rifle Finals are also underway featuring Harjinder Singh and Amit Kumar.

Onto Archery, India will play for a quarterfinal berth in Recurve and Compound Mixed Team events.

In Tennis, the Men's Doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan will play for the Gold



medal, while in Men's Singles, Prajnesh Gunneswaran will play his semi-final.

Shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy will begin their Singles campaigns.

In Kabaddi, the Indian Women's team will battle it out against Iran in the Final. 

The Men's team had suffered a shock semi-final defeat to the Iranians on Thursday.

Boxing events are also beginning yesterday, with Gaurav Solanki and Manoj Kumar scheduled to play their respective opening round bouts.

In Weightlifting, Rakhi Halder will be seen in action in the Women's 63 kg division.

In Men's Hockey, India will slug it out against Japan in their third Pool-A game. 

In Squash, Saurav Ghoshal will meet Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu in the quarterfinals, with Dipika Pallikal and Joshna Chinappa also playing their last-8 matches.

Indian athletes will also be seen in action in the Finals of four different categories in Rowing, and two in Artistic Gymnastics.
