In Hockey, defending champions India today breezed into the summit clash of the women's Asian Champions Trophy after edging past Malaysia 3-2 at Donghae City (Korea). 

It was their third consecutive victory after having defeated Japan 4-1 and China 3-1 in previous encounters. Gurjit Kaur, Vandana Katariya and Lalremsiami scored



goals for India while Nuraini Rashi and Hanis Onn scored for Malaysia. Though India still has a match in hand in their pool, yet with this win, they have qualified for the Sunday's final. 

India now tops the table with nine points and will next take on hosts Korea in their final pool match on Saturday.
