World number two in the Dubai Rankings, Kidambi Srikanth, and world number four PV Sindhu are the two Indian shuttlers participating in the tournament as only top eight in Men's and Women's Singles earn the right to compete.

Eight players in each category have been divided into two groups, with the first set of matches scheduled to be held today. Srikanth is in Group-B and will take on Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the opener, while Sindhu is

in Pool-A and will face China's He Bingjiao.
