Virat Kohli has been known for his aggressive nature on the field, especially against Australia. Kohli has not backed down from a fight and sledged the Australian players back in their way. Australian media, FOX Sports Australia posted a photo on Facebook on March 10, comparing Kohli to dog, panda, puppy or kitten. This post is bound to create controversy in the coming days before the third Test between India and Australia at Ranchi as the post nominates him for the ‘Vettel of the week’ award.

The Indian skipper recently showed his disappointment on the field over Steven Smith and Peter Handscomb asking for help from Australia’s support staff on whether to opt for DRS or not for the lbw appeal against

Smith. To this ‘brain fade’ incident Kohli stepped in and showed his disappointment whereas Cheteshwar Pujara blocked the view of the batsmen. Umpire Nigel Llong stepped in and saved the day but in post-match conference, Kohli revealed that he has been noticing this kind of behaviour for the past few days.

To this, Australian media lashed out at Kohli for the false allegations as he said in the post-match press conference that he won’t take the exact name but I would never do that on a cricket field. Whereas BCCI backed Kohli, Cricket Australia declared his allegations as outrageous. A war started between the two as BCCI filed a complaint against Steven Smith for the ‘brain fade’ incident.
