Kings XI Punjab beat Mumbai Indians by 7 runs to keep their hopes of play-off qualification alive. Put into bat, Punjab scored a mammoth 230 for 3 in 20 overs at Wankhede Stadium last night. In reply, Mumbai Indians made 223 for 6.

Earlier, Punjab openers Wriddhiman Saha and Martin Guptill put on a 68-run stand in 5.3 overs. Saha made 93 off 55 balls. Guptill scored 36 off 18



balls. 

For Mumbai, Lendl Simmons scored 59 off 32 deliveries. Kieron Pollard contributed 50 off just 24 balls.Mumbai Indians are still on top of the table with 18 points from 13 games while Kings XI Punjab moved up to 14 points from the same number of matches. 

Today, Delhi Daredevils will play Rising Pune Supergiant. The match at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground will begin at 8 PM.
