India beat Sri Lanka by 16 runs in ICC Women's World Cup at Derby in England maintain their fourth successive win in the tournament. Chasing a victory target of 233, Sri Lanka could manage only 216 for 7 in stipulated 50 overs. Earlier, India elected



to bat first and made a challenging 232 for 8 in 50 overs. 

Deepti Sharma contributed 78 and skipper Mithali Raj scored 53 runs while Jhulan Goswami and Poonam Yadav picked up two wickets each.
