Jos Buttler's unbeaten century powered England to a thrilling one-wicket win over Australia in the fifth one-day international at Old Trafford on Sunday. 

The victory gave England their first 5-0 series sweep against Australia, in more than 140 years of Men's International Cricket between the arch-rivals.

Opting to bat, Australia were first bundled out for 205 in 34.4 overs,



thanks to a 4-wicket haul from spinner Moeen Ali. In reply, England got off to a disastrous start and were 86 for 6 at one stage. 

Amid the continuous fall of wickets, Buttler scored 110 not out to guide the hosts to a sensational one-wicket win with nine balls to spare. Buttler was named man of the match as well as the player of the series.
