The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announced the schedule on Thursday for the upcoming limited overs series against Australia and New Zealand.

Australia will kick-start their tour with a warm-up game against Board President’s XI in Chennai before playing the first ODI on September 17 at the same venue.

Meanwhile, New Zealand will play two warm-up games in the lead up to their first ODI at Mumbai on October 22. Pune (Oct 25) and Kanpur (Oct 29) will host the remaining fixtures of the one-day series.

The Greenfield Stadium



in Thiruvananthapuram and Barsapara Cricket Stadium at Guwahati will host their maiden international fixtures.
Fixtures: Australia tour: 1st ODI: Chennai (Sept 17); 2nd ODI: Kolkata (Sept 21); 3rd ODI: Indore (Sept 24); 4th ODI: Bengaluru (Sept 28); 5th ODI: Nagpur (Oct 1); 1st T20I: Ranchi (Oct 7); 2nd T20I: Guwahati (Oct 10); 3rd T20I: Hyderabad (Oct 13).

New Zealand tour: 1st ODI: Mumbai (Oct 22); 2nd ODI: Pune (Oct 25); 3rd ODI: Kanpur (Oct 29); 1st T20I: Delhi (Nov 1); 2nd T20I: Rajkot (Nov 4); 3rd T20I: Thiruvananthapuram (Nov 7).
