India's Ankita Raina and Ramkumar Ramanathan have achieved their career-best tennis rankings in Singles. In the WTA chart, Ankita leapfrogged 43 places to reach the 212th spot, while in the ATP rankings Ramanathan became world No. 132, after climbing four places.

Ankita moved up on the back of her first singles title in more than three years when she beat Amandine Hesse in straight sets in the final of the 25,000 US Dollar ITF women's event in Gwalior.

In the ATP rankings, the country's top singles player Yuki Bhambri jumped two places and is now ranked 105. He is followed by Ramanathan at the



132nd spot and Sumit Nagal at the 213 position. 

Prajnesh Gunseswaran is ranked 263 and Arjun Khade is at 394th spot. 
In the doubles, Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan have gained one spot each. Bopanna is ranked 19th and Divij Sharan is ranked 43rd. Leander Paes remained unchanged at 45. He was followed by Purav Raja in the 62nd position.

In the WTA rankings, Karman Kaur Thandi was the next best player singles after Ankita Raina. She remains unchanged at 273, after Ankita Raina. In women's doubles, out of action Sania Mirza moved down seven places to number 23, her lowest rank in seven years.
