Australia put on a dominant performance as they thrashed India by eight wickets to enter the semi-final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2017. Meg Lanning smashed an unbeaten 76 while Ellyse Perry notched up her fourth consecutive fifty as Australia coasted to the target. Earlier, Mithali Raj gave India plenty to smile as she became the leading run-getter in ODIs while Punam Raut smashed her second century. With this loss, India's last game against New Zealand becomes a virtual shoot-out for the last semi-final spot.
